I live near Sacramento Ca and I have spotty service with T-mobile where I live. I was excited to hear about the LTE expansion on the 700mhz band 12. All of the maps and forums say the completion for the 700 upgrade will be sometime late 2015. Anyone have any idea when I might see it done in Sacramento?

Welcome to Android Central! Oh man, it'd also be sweet if they rolled it out in the Silicon Valley soon!:D

You might want to send T-Mobile a tweet, or post in the Google+ T-Mobile community. They're actually pretty good about answering.

Funny you should mention, cause I have been getting lte band 12 for past week here in Natomas area of Sac. It will stay locked onto band 12 and switch to band 4. But today was the longest it stayed on band 12! They must be testing.

Agreed LTE band 12 is in Sacramento and this map shows at least two towers that have been spotted with the green dots. Also, KDTV-DT, San Francisco, CA TV station has agreed to concurrent operation starting in July 2015 so now T-Mobile 700Mhz will soon be in San Francisco

Nice... that's awesome. I hope that happens here. That RI station pretty much puts the kybosh on all of RI, eastern and central Massachusetts and anything easy of Hartford CT. Serious crimp in my style.

Same with WNJN channel 51 in Monclair in NJ. I can't even get the station with a roof antenna but I can get WNJB channel 8 in New Brunswick.

On Aug 26th TV station WJAR in Providence, Rhode Island has moved from channel UHF 51 to UHF 50. This now allows T-Mobile to roll out 700Mhz in the state of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Boston your 700Mhz has started deployment and should be getting Band 12 in the next few weeks.
