Fast & Furious Multiple new T-Mobile 700MHz sightings around the nation

I live about a mile west of the tower that my Note 4 connects to. It is a very strong signal. At night, I get close to 60Mbps down and during the day, 20-40Mbps.

I know the tower is close because I have an iPhone app called signal that shows where the tower is that the phone is connected to. I hope they upgrade it soon since it is what makes T-Mobile so impressive in my area.

Since you have a Note 4 you could install the Cellmapper App and elect to contribute data when you are driving around. When you contribute enough data from both sides of the tower near your home it will show you where the tower physically is located and how many different bands is in that tower as well as which cell sector covers your home. Again until you uploaded data from 2/3 around that tower it may not be the correct spot on the map. Now I turn off the Cellmapper App when I not driving since it just wasting your battery unless you are driving around. The App will surprise you how many towers is in your area if you drive around your country enough to cover that area. That may give you a little faster data speeds but not much different than what you see now.

BTW, you are getting really good data test now so I don't see Band 12 doing anything other than penetrating your walls better in your area.

T-Mobile Network update from TMO's Q1 Financial Meeting;

As of the end of Q1 2015, T-Mobile’s LTE network now covers 275 million people, and the company is still targeting 300 million by the end of 2015. The carrier is also still “rapidly” rolling out both Wideband LTE and LTE in both 700MHz and 1900MHz frequencies. Wideband LTE is now available in 157 markets, with a target of reaching more than 200 market areas by the end of the year.

The 700MHz network is now officially live in 55 market areas, with major launches recently in Houston, Dallas, Philadelphia, Tampa, San Antonio and Detroit.

T-Mobile Band 12 700MHz LTE network spotted in Fresno, Talladega, Indianapolis and more…

Also, for NexusGirlX

KCEC, Denver, CO was A protected TV channel 51 station. On 10/17/2014 KCEC submitted an application to relocate to channel 26. Relocation is complete as of 4/15/2015.

LTE band 12 was launched in Denver on 4/28 per Neville Ray on the Q1 earnings call marking the end of the exclusion zone.

There are several Band 12 towers outside of Denver but they are now building out Denver for band 12. You can see a few towers that people have reported here on the Spectrum 700 T-Mobile map that has the purple-blue icons on the map. http://ae2.spectrumgateway.com/t-mobile-700-mhz-spectrum.html
