Note 3's Screen High Battery Consumption.

Hello,
Would someone please shed some light on the reason that may be causing my phone to use more than 40% of the battery for the screen? This does not make sense to me because I have enable every possible power-saving setting. I also reduced the brightness and decreased the time out length.

Welcome to the forums.

It does take a lot of power to run a screen that size.

If you tap the screen section it will tell you how long your screen was on for.

I see 40% easily on my gs3. No surprise that it's that our more on the note 3. I mean it's one of the biggest phone screens you can buy. Why wouldn't it use a lot of the battery.
