Has anyone else noticed a drastic performance decrease (quadrant scores, choppier homescreen) after RUU to 1.85.502?
My Quadrant scores have dropped from ~4970 on 1.73 to about 4200-4400 since updating, and the homescreen is now noticeably choppier, it is now no longer iPhone smooth. Other general performance seems to be better but the homescreen is really bugging me!

Have you taken a look at what might be running? Maybe a reboot?

Active wall paper perhaps?

Active wallpaper can slow down home screen switching, but shouldn't affect any other apps.
If you only have two processors you might notice that more than on a quad core.
But I'm betting something is running that is chewing up a cpu.

I've not seen any live wallpapers slow this device down and I've tried a ton of them.

I would try a reboot and/or a factory reset.

I don't have any live wallpapers, I close all my apps, and I use Advanced Task Killer... When I went into settings and stopped everything that didn't look important I got 4448 with Quadrant, still much lower than when I first got the phone on 1.73.

Also on 1.73 I noticed, after I swapped my phone due to connectivity issues (this one has the same problem) that the homescreen on the new one wasn't as smooth as the old one... it might have been psychological but it still didn't seem right..
