1-Year Contract Prices

Heck I had my last NE2 available to use making the phone cost $149 but instead opted for the 1 year price of $229 so that I would not be stuck with the phone for 2 years. I was thinking I was gonna have to pay $199 anyway so whats $30 more. lol.

I get a discount through my employer as do many other ppl here seeing the lower price. I'm so excited that I saved $100 and only had to sign a 1 year contract.

I tried to see what it would be for me on VZW. It said 199 with 2 year but it wouldn't give me an option for the 1 year. What's up with that?

Family plan should have no play in this. If you are eligible for an upgrade, you have the option for a 1 year or 2 year contract.

I have the Palm Pre + too and this deal is what pushed me over the edge. I will miss WebOS. But a one year contract at 229 means I can go back soon if hp steps it up.

I'm getting it to show up as $229 for 1-yr too. That's really an incredible deal. I don't know if it's applying any discounts. It's not the primary line on my account. But, we do still have a NE2 discount coming. I don't know if it's automatically applying it to this purchase or not.

Although very enticing, I'm sticking to my guns though and waiting until next month to see if the Bionic falls. If the Bionic comes out, then I'll choose between the two. If not, I'll go ahead and get the Thunderbolt.
