1-Year Contract Prices

I bought the phone in store and it was $229 with my company discount too. I have the phone sitting in my car now! Unfortunately, I can't play with it until I leave work now :(

How can you get your company discount at the store? Do you need to show any type of document?

lol...so true. "We'll give them a 1yr contract, and won't release another phone for 3 years...that will get them".

Exactly, "shhh, lower the 1yr contract price a few bucks, they'll never know what hit them. Then we'll ram this new tiered contract in their arse and lock them into it for 2yrs."

I ain't fallin' for it.

Verizon said according to my company's contract with them that I can't order it in store for that price -- must be online.

LOL, I certainly hope you're joking.

My company's website says I need to bring a Paystub and my company badge. It may differ depending on the company. They asked for my work email address and then scanned my badge in. Didn't even ask for the paystub.

Chances are vzw will correct any pricing issues with your bill later. When BB sold a flat screen for ten bucks they back charged everyones credit cards.

They can't change prices after you agree to what you paid. If they do contact your credit card company. Print out your receipt!

The corporate/business account sales on Verizon said my company didn't allow the hardware to be purchased in-store at the discounted rate, but they could get my company discount on the plan itself. I would definitely be in-store this morning, but she said the store would just order it online anyway as I would have to.

Exactly. They can cancel it though.

If they do I'll just try to go to a vzw store, but I was told this is literally company pricing online.

I guess maybe my company is different. I was all set to argue with the manager when I got there, but I asked them 3 times while they were ringing it up to make sure the price was the same and they said it was, and when I was rang up, I was only charged ~$241 (after tax).

ok so anybody still getting those sweet prices everybodys been posting about.

im on the verizonwireless page and it says 250 for 2 years and 320 for the 1 year. why does it seem like everybody is getting discounted prices except me?

please reply ASAP

I would imagine because of company discounts. Two year contract shows $199 for me, with no option to choose a one year contract.

You get it if you have a discount through your job

Yea, I just called the store to verify and the woman I had an appointment with said that she can't match that price. They know my company well and she says the store doesn't match it b/c my company doesn't allow it. Basically something about the difference between the company paid accounts and the personal accounts with company discount.

Just placed my order, and yes it was due to company discount.

$229 for 1 yr contract! HELL YES!

I'll wait a day to get the phone for that deal.

I have a corporate account (or discount) too. I didn't follow through on the order, but I wonder if I'm in the same situation -- getting a lower price due to corporate discount. I have never had a corporate discount on a phone before, so it would definitely be surprising if true. I wonder if that trend will continue.
