10 best note taking apps for Android

I haven't used it, but I think maybe One Note will do that possibly. I know it will sync between devices, like a tablet and computer.

Yup, OneNote is good, and syncs between devices. It has iOS and Android clients, has a web client, a desktop client, it has a Chrome extension to quickly save a webpage to OneNote, and much more.

EverNote has all this too, but now they changed their pricing scheme and it's just not worth it anymore IMO with all the other good free clients.

I thought maybe iOS also because she is an iPhone user, but I wasn't positive. She has Windows computers and tablets.

I see. With Windows devices, there might be even more motivation to use OneNote with the tight integration to Office apps and Windows OS. It would seem a good choice. I never used it until about 6 months ago, as I always used Evernote. I was surprised at how versatile OneNote is, and how flexible it has become with it's clients/extensions. The Chrome extension clinched it for me :)

I switched to OneNote after Evernote changed its pricing, as well. So far OneNote has been fine.

I went to get OneNote and discovered it's a Microsoft app. No can do. I have a strict No Microsoft policy on all of my devices.

I get it, but old-school thinking there. Microsoft has really opened up it's products under the new CEO. OneNote is quite useful.

But...if it works, why does it matter who made it? I use outlook on my iPhone, and will continue to do so on my Note 7, because it's the best email app I've used. I couldn't care less who made it.

I hate certain companies but if it is a free app and works good, I'll use it. If a free Apple app would work great I would use it on my phone.
