10 hours after getting my new s4 and i have to buy a new one. A litle help? :)

I had the same thing happen to me.My name is David. I bought mine online on the Cricket Wireless website. I placed a call and when I finished I put the phone in my front jean pocket like usual. A few hrs later I pulled it out to place a call and saw the screen shattered. At first I had no idea how it happened. I backtracked my day and tried to remember if I had maybe accidentally bumped on a desk or something but no. I was dumfounded as how the screen could have shattered without cause. The phone is only five weeks old but I did notice that it had be getting from warm to hot sometimes. Sometimes when in my pocket and other when just on my desk sitting on plugged to the charger. I finally Googled this issue and looked at reviews so i see it is a very common issue. IT IS. It would be nice if the box had a warning on it to not place it in your pocket. I guess since the screen is one of the larger ones in the market it cannot really handle the lateral stress of being in a front pocket and you sitting down. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with my Samsung Galaxy s4

..Just google 's4 cracked screen' and you'll get plenty of hits...

They have sold 10s of millions of GS4's. If you even get 100 results, that is a very very low %. (as in about 0.0005 % )

You could try calling Samsung, they probably won't care... But if they do, it's a fast replacement.
