10GB of RAM used

So i was just chatting with people on Whatsapp and suddenly i could feel the phone lagging. Like literally lagging. I went to settings and it shows 10.3GB of RAM being used. It happened suddenly. And apps are being restarted so often i had to use my laptop to continue editing this thread.as swiftkey was being killed every few seconds.

a few minutes later an error showed up saying System UI isnt responding or sort of.i clicked close and the phone went from lock to unlock then lock to unlock...wierd that it could go from 5GB to 10GB in a minute...i didnt install any apps or change any settings.

Nope. Seriously i thought my phone was gonna explode. Every app kept on restarting. Apps like Ampere and Internet Speed Meter. But basically everything. I cant even go into settings.

Wow. A reboot might help temporarily. And it will also help you track how long it takes for this to show up again.

Yes. A reboot solved the issue. But whats wierd is that this has happened once in my entire time with smartphones.

So my S10 Plus happened to suddenly use up all the ram again.i think its hardware failure.thus i sold it and got 2 x Note 9.see you guys soon!

Sorry for the guy that bought it if it is indeed hardware issues. I would make sure you have the latest Whatsapp update, they are urging folks to update because there was a major spyware breach on that app.

Why sell it? return it to Samsung (replacement) instead of giving the problem to someone else.

For anyone asking so i sold the phone instead of getting it fixed. Thats how we do in Indonesia. And for those saying that i should get it replaced, its not how it works in Indonesia either. We dont have a 30 day money back guarantee or whatsoever. If i go to the service centre. And i am unable to provide evidence of the 10GB ram usage. They wouldnt do anything to the phone other than giving it a clean format.yeah yeah i can show the photos but that's not how service works in Indonesia.

I didn't care how it works there. That's a shady thing to do, selling a phone with issues to someone. I bet you didn't tell them it was broken.

Its a shop. Official Samsung shop... Sort of like traded the S10P for a Note 9...

I bought it for US$1600.i did tell the problem in a local gadget group and at first people did offer $800.i asked for $1000 and a few people agreed knowing that its malfunctioning. But after a while of thinking i decided its best to trade in instead of selling it as i am a very reputable seller in Indonesia.
