128GB or 512GB - What U Getting?

I am new to the tech world sort of, what is RAM and its significance?

You chose the 128gb handset which comes with 6gb of memory, there is also a 512gb handset which comes with 8gb of memory, memory = RAM, and RAM stands for Random Access Memory, which in theory more = better.

128gb/512gb = storage size

If you are a power hungry user using lots of apps at the same time then more RAM is better, but I haven't seen any evidence so far that 6gb is not enough, sure you will get stuttering on phones but that's not all down to RAM.

So basically if you can afford the 512gb model and will use a that storage along with 8gb RAM then go for it :)

Getting the 512GB, but that's because it's free upgrade to 512GB for the price of 128GB in my country, if not I will not be getting Note 9.

I'm getting the 512 GB. BUT, I was going to skip the Note 9. Would have been the 1st skip since my N3. But the timing just was right.

One of my sons is due for an upgrade this month. He had a S7Edge that broke a couple of months ago & he's been using my old N4. He planned on getting the S9 when his device payment plan was complete. But since using the N4, he wanted to get the N8. He doesn't care about the storage, so he's going to take the free 128 and activate it on his line.

My Mom is going to activate her phone (my N5) on the new #. And I'm going to take the 512. (I'll be canceling my Mom's current number.)

Convoluted, but that crazy path took me from waiting for the N10 to the 512 GB Note 9.

I went 128. If I went with 512, there would be a lot of free space. For me this = wasted money and I need the money for the upcoming S line :)

In Australia if you pre-order you can get the 8gb/512gb version for the price of the 6gb/128gb. So with that, I'm considering getting the 8gb/512gb version.

I'm hesitant to place the order as I do want to wait for the Pixel 3/3XL reveal, but from the leaks they're looking pretty disappointing.

Considering T-Mobile wants an arm and a leg down, I'm probably only getting the 128gb

Same. For some reason, after my JUMP upgrade thing, I only have to put $80 down for the 128GB. So I asked what it would cost for the 512GB but it was still in the $500 range.

I started out pre-ordering the 128 but then a few hours later I cancelled it and did the 512. I wanted the 8GB. I am hoping it is worth it. I thought, why not! lol.

I'm on T-Mobile and would love a BOGO deal with the same trade-in offer but lower down payment. That would definitely swing me to the 512/8. The wifey is convincing me that the 128/6 is still enough for us and we are serious multitasking users. So unless something changes soon in favor of the buyer, I may settle (used lightly because I love the specs) for the 128/6.

Pretty sure they told me at Verizon store that the BOGO only applies to the 128...
For free correct. If you go with the larger model for both then you pay the difference from the 999.99 as that's the max. It's in the fine print.

I've used less than 20GB on my current phone, so I just stuck with the base 128Gb. Considered the larger size for the 8Gb RAM, but had a hard time justifying the additional cost just for that, when I know I'll never use the space.

I ordered the 128gb version last Friday, got the akg freebie and ordered a DeX dock for $69, I wanted to get the see through flip case but I'll wait for the cheap knockoffs to hit ebay and Amazon, I just can't see spending $70 on any case for any phone.
