128GB or 512GB - What U Getting?

I went with 128. It's more than enough for me.

Have booked 128gb ocean blue ...and I have 128gb card ...Iam good...already using 128gb S9+ and have nearly 80gb free..and I upgrade depending on my need...sometimes 6 months sometime 1 year....

never will use 512gb. I am not sure if 512gb if truly needed. I have never used too much, all my pictures get backed up to google cloud. I am not sure why some people admit they don't need but they still go for 512gb lol. I have a 200gb sd card, should be plenty. 8gb of ram is nice but it makes no difference in multi tasking. If it was a 100 dollar difference that would be cool. For 250 more its really hard to justify it.

Samsung must have had a reason for not doing 256GB instead..... Wonder if the 512 storage ties into yields for other storage they sell as well? Economy of scale perhaps.

I remember when the G1 came out with low storage and people then hypothesized that 1GB internal would be overkill. Really. The G1 had about 180mb free.

That was by default my first Android, since was the first.

I had on order(pre) the 512 with my s7 250.00 trade in which put the phone at $1,066.24...

then I got that damn email for 450.00 off s7 trade in...because the 512 was now backorder if i re-ordered i canceled that 512 and ordered the not back-ordered 128 with 450 trade in s7 for $586.43... i mean, how can i not !!!

I’d like the 512. But in reality I don’t keep my phones for more than 6 months or so so it would be a waste. Went with the 128 myself.

Lol I remember a couple of years ago when 128GB first came around and the attitude towards that was pretty similar to the attitude towards the 512GB variant.

Another 2 years and 512 will be the base model and you can go up to 4 TB for additional $200 probably

Ordered 2 512/8gb variants. 1 for my wife (purple) and 1 for myself (blue). With Verizon BOGO deal, came out to $750 per phone. Not bad for the 512gb versions

I preordered the 512 in the Lilac Purple color! I agree that Blue is gorgeous. But, I'm really loving purple for me!

After much deliberation I've opted for the Black 512Gb model.

Collecting it from my local Samsung Experience Store this Friday.

Got £300 taken off the price as I'm trading in the s8 model.
