128GB variant of the U11 available in North America July 25th!

It does not confirm 6gb RAM on the 128gb variant. Until that is confirmed on HTC.com, I'm skeptical.

I purchased my solar red on Amazon for $590 when it was on sale. I'm tempted to return it to get this one... will it really be a noticeable upgrade? This phone is already fast. I may just keep this and wait for Pixel 2

Biggest question in my mind is how late in August these things will ship. That's how long I'll have to keep using my iPhone 6, which I don't enjoy in the slightest.

I will return my week old U11 which I purchased on Amazon.

Amazon returns are simple and clean. On all my returns to date, the full dollar amount is returned as soon as the item is scanned/dropped off for shipping.

I returned a phone to HTC long ago(2-3 years) before HTC Sense was bearable as a launcher and S-Off was challenging. It took a while for HTC to receive and inspect (~10 days).

Actually, I'm not sure I trust this character. I see the website information, but this person says that he is not sure it's accurate, so who knows. I'd much rather the 6gb device. I have a few days to get a return. I dont' know if it's worth it with the delays at digital river.

Oh if it's from HTC customer rep, they are generally clueless and of no help. We generally have more info than them.

LOL, gotcha. The international ones are supposed to have 6gb, so maybe this one does too. I wish someone had one in hand to check. I have another week to return my current one.

Just checked HTC.com, here's the listing for the U.S. variant (not that I don't trust the other references to HTC's site) and it's pretty clear:

Memory
ROM: 64GB , RAM: 4GB
ROM: 128GB , RAM: 6GB
Extended memory: microSD™
Flex Storage supported

If it doesn't have 6GB of RAM, then HTC needs to get that information corrected pronto.
