16 or 32 GB Onboard Memory?

Pure SPECULATION and CONJECTURE:
My prediction is the Verizon will get the 16GB model offer it at $299.
Other Carriers will get the 32 also @ $299
Verizon will blame the LTE for the cost being the same as the 32GB on non-LTE carriers.

Then why do Verizon testers have 32GB models?

Hmmm?

looks like about 6gb of Apps (not.)

Smartass.

The Bionic has a 16gb storage chip in it. They way they formatted it, it drops down to half that size.

HTC did the same thing with the Thunderbolt. It is done so that the chip lasts longer.

I said it was pure speculation and conjecture. Tends to mean I have no basis in proof or fact. In fact, I'm just making arbitrary guesses based on Verizon's previous attitudes, costs and behaviors...
(Also, I'd love to be wrong.)

I do hope its the 32GB for $299 (I won't even bother hoping its less than that), but I could potentially live alright with the 16GB. With various cloud based music services, that will take care of a huge chunk of memory. And I use Netflix for mobile movies mostly, so that shouldn't be a problem either. But with a 8MP camera and 1080p movies, that's where the bulk of my storage will be used up. I have a 2-year-old and take A LOT of pictures and movies. But so far my iPhone 4 16GB is holding up with a few GBs to spare. Either way, this is my next phone. The RAZR's locked bootloader sealed the deal for me on that phone. No thanks.
