1620mAh battery from the Rezound works well

Most reps just don't know that much. They are not paid that well. Retail is just like that. But there are also some exceptional reps. Sometimes you have to go through a couple of ignorant ones before you find a knowledgeable and truly helpful rep.

Thanks, Robrecht

The lady I bought my Rezound battery from had no clue that they were even 50% off. I had to tell her. She rang it up, and voila. She seemed to know that the extended batteries were 50% off, though...

Is it really a significant difference? It's only 240mAh bigger.

But it IS bright red, so clearly...

Really though, is it significant? And how long is this sale going on for?

I think they've been selling 4G batteries at 50% off since May. These types of promotions are typically only known to be valid until the end of a particular month but then may be renewed for the next month. I think Verizon is trying to do the right thing with 4G LTE phones being battery hogs.

Thanks, Robrecht

I am 23 hours up and at 45% not heavy usage but still....

Just picked one up, anyone having any overheating issue?

Not sure if that's is something to worry about but it crossed my mind.

Seriously folks. I am running a sense rom. Light usage but I am at 1 day, 10 hours of usage. If you can get this battery for $20, do it.

My price comes up as 29.99 on the site, actually a little over $32 after taxes are applied.

Do you get a corporate discount on accessaries on your acocunt? I get 25% off on my account. If i go to the check out page while signed into my account the battery shows as $29.99, my 25% discounts is used over the standard verizon 50% discount on the 4g batteries. Make sure you are signed out of your verizon account before you add the battery to the cart and then it might show up as $19.99.

I have read it is 3.8V instead of 3.7V. I assume this won't be a problem.

Wondering the same thing... I feel like this could cause issues...

Let my put you at ease. I have both batteries sitting right here in front of me. Clearly printed on the standard TBolt battery is 3.7 volts. Clearly printed on the Rezound battery is 3.7 volts.

The difference is also clearly printed on each battery. It's the capacity of 1400 mAh on the TBolt battery and 1620 mAh on the Rezound battery.

I've been running the Rezound battery in my TBolt nor two days, now. It fit fine in theTBolt and it's worked just fine. There's been no heating or performance issues to raise any concern for me. It feels just like the regular battery, except for the fact that I'm reaching the end of a full day without running out of juice with moderate use thoughout the day - browsing, emails, texting, a little music, some podcast listening, some video streaming and of course, a few phone calls.

I think if I were to be much more aggressive in the use of my phone, I would use the TBolt extended battery. However, since I've long passed the novelty stage of my phone ownership, the smaller 1620 Rezound battery is filling the need.

I can confirm that this method works. I just ordered mine. Thanks, bud.

To whoever is saying that the Voltage on the Rezound battery is 3.8V... You can see from the picture on Verizon's Website that it says 3.7 at the top. Stop spreading that fallacy, please. No reason to scare off people who may want to buy it.

EDIT: It's right in the first line.

"Model #xxxxxxxxxxx 3.7VDC *** 1620 mAh"

My fault I should have looked at the battery before believing internet rumors...

Shame on me.

The battery does say 3.7v on it.

Yep, that is probably it. I do get a corporate discount so I'll give your method a shot! Thanks!

Ordered 2. Had to do it as a separate transaction. It wanted to charge full price for one if I did it together. My wife's phone is an uber battery hog for some reason. Not gonna lie though, I would be happy with an Iphone battery. Seems like it takes forever to kill that thing. And that is with the type of usage I do on my Bolt.
