Can someone explain why the VZW site lists their GNex as having 16GB of storage? I even wrote VWZ customer service and got a reply back saying that yes, indeed the remaining new GNex phones only have 16GB of storage, but if I wanted to buy a certified pre-owned version (for SAME PRICE) those have 32GB and 4G (as if the new ones don't).

I know I'm not crazy and this dude is just reading the same false info ... right?

No. As part of the price cut storage was cut in half. The GNex is EOL.

In other words... Cherish your 32gb nexus :-). Think I might add more protection on my phone so when I sell it, I will make some bank.

Oh wow thanks - I had no idea. Well screw that plan. I do see that 3rd party retailers list their GNex phones at 32GB. I am shocked. That is shocking.

How's it shocking? It's price was cut in half, so storage was too.

The only thing I think is shocking is the fact that a 16 gig Verizon model was never available--to the best of my knowledge, at least, so I'm probably wrong LOL--until this point. That thing could have sold like hot cakes, although Verizon had arguably way too many DROIDs to push.

Sorry that's just a quote from High Fidelity that just came out with no reference.

No it's understandable, but just took me off guard. Well it certainly puts things on perspective.

I'm most upset that a week or so ago VZW was selling off used 32Gb models for 230 and I missed it.

On the Verizon website, they list the 32gig version for $149 and 16gig for $49.
