Bad news 1st

The signal is not as good, i get one or zero bars in my office, my N4 had 2 bars and occasionally one

Hangouts is a bit of a pain, you have to switch between sms and email when sending messages, and it doesnt group the conversation with the same person into one chat, so when i open hangouts, i have an sms thread and an email thread, its a little poorly executed for me

i didnt realize the white Nexus 5 had a white speaker grill on the front until i opened the box, just looks a little odd

Wifi antenna is nowhere near as powerful as it should be, hopefully its software related and not hardware

The Camera, while it can take some great shots, the camera software is a bit of a failure, i cannot understand why they go to all the effort with Kitkat making it as nice as it is to then give us a camera app that really doesnt work so well

Positives

The screen is every bit as good as in my opinion the best screen on a phone today, the HTC One`s, its bright, its detailed, it has the cooler colors which i like, the one was the same way, the screen is simply fantastic

The 1 speaker..... its great to be honest, i was surprised how good it was, i can only imagine how good it would have been with stereo speaker

Call quality is solid, sounds better than my N4

Nice and light, but not S4 light which i do prefer as the S4 was so light it heightened the cheapness fell of it

The back is nice, grippy but not rough

As a media player it is superb, thanks to the screen and the great audio coming through the 3.5mm headphone jack

This was a Negative but its also a positive, the camera, when it works it takes a really good crisp picture, i cant wait to see if Google give us a modified camera APK

Kitkat looks great, the slightly larger icons fill the screen well and make use of the real estate

Google now is great from the " ok google" to the swipe from the side

A big improvement over the N4, the screen is the real winner here, its blazing fast, and with a few software tweaks from Google this thing will be a 10/10 for me

Got my Nexus 5 up and running now. Wifi on my end is good i'm running 5Ghz AC from my Asus RT-AC66U. My service signal is good. No further testing right now because as soon as I got to the wifi setup and got it running it had a 125MB update to do.
