1TB Model Reports Wrong Space Used

That's lots of free storage. What you gonna do with all that storage? I have crazy amount of media on my note 9 and still half way through 128gb storage.

Still don't understand why the exact same "System Memory" takes up 4 times the space on the 1TB phone.

If I put the same 1GB file on the 1TB and 128GB phones it shows as the exact same space used on both devices.

I think because it needs that lot more system space to run higher storage, so the higher the storage the more it takes from System space if that makes sense ,the way I see it . Correct me if I'm wrong.

It's not the same system memory. The file system is larger on a larger storage medium.

That's probably because "Samsung decided to incorporate GB to GiB conversion into system". See this thread
