2.1 app drawer

I was wondering, is there a leaked 2.1 version of the app drawer out there ? I currently downloaded the 2.1 gallery and I love it ! I really don't want to root my phone, I just want a few of the 2.1 goodies for now. Any help or links would be appreciated. Thanks..

The App Drawer is part of the Launcher.

2.1 launcher

I just tried to install it and it won't let me install it. I have astro file mgr already. What am I doing wrong ?

try checking your settings. Settings>Applications>Unknown Sources is checked.

I figured it out and its awesome!!! all i need now is the live wallpapers and flash I'll wait till the official 2.1 release for those. Thanks people!!

agree. home++ is my runaway favorite right now

Its just a matter of preference for the 2.1 launcher.

I wanted more than 3 screens and did not like the bottom dock for Home++. 2.1 launcher is working great for me.

will you need to uninstall them before you upgrade to the official when it comes out?

I would think so. Its not difficult. Get astro file mgr and uninstall it from there.

I found launcher2 to be "buggy"

Seems it made my phone run slower and FCs with different apps and random reboots.

This seemed to be a better option

Less the new app drawer and a few other features, you get 5 screens still and you can rotate to landscape without having to open your keyboard.

Do you need root for the AllDroid Launcher? B/C that would kinda defeat the purpose...

I really want 5 homescreens and the 3D animations, but I tried out the launcher and it was crazy slow. Like Palm Pre-slow. Like Windows Mobile circa 2003 slow. It would make opening apps a chore.

I can't wait for the official release since that's going to speed things up, if anything.

It appears you do need ROOT for that one...

I haven't had any problems with the 2.1 launcher so far. Once the update comes, I'm going to uninstall it and go with the official 2.1 launcher. This is just a temporary thing, because I really didn't want to root my phone.
