2.2 and root access

Hey guys I installed 2.2 earlier today and then the 1 ghz kernel and now I have just noticed I no longer have root access. Should I just reroot my phone? Thanks

Hmmm, I downloaded it and I still have it. Which recovery did you use?

Did you download the update.zip? Download that as well as 2.2 to get SU permissions back. Can't post link by posters request.

Ahh Yeah that's what I figured but last time I checked the site wasn't working.

If you use clockwork and do both the ROM and the overclock kernel in series i know you will retain your root access. I did them both at the same time. the first boot of 2.2 on my droid was with 1Ghz kernel and the only hiccup i ran into was that i had to manually give SetCPU root access.
