I just watched a walk through video on Engadget. Here's what caught my eye. Quadrant still chokes on the i/o test. Looks like the lag fix will still be needed. The installed ram is still showing 331mb. It appears all the comments suggesting we will see the full 512mb on Froyo are incorrect. My oh my.
I thought the Fascinate (maybe all Galaxy S?) was different in that 128MB was dedicated to the GPU and that's why we see 325MB RAM instead of 512MB (even though it really does have 512MB). I thought that was one of the reasons it performs/appears so fast. I'm just a Android noob and regurgitating what I've read so it's not like I can really explain it any better.I just watched a walk through video on Engadget. Here's what caught my eye.
