2.2 issues

So after all this long wait and frustration over 2.1 I know have a few gripes regarding 2.2.

No matter what notification I receive some voice sais verizon wireless prior to every notification incoming call and even when I make a phone call

Also I cannot get the rocker to completely mute and un vibrate my phone....lame

Also my ringtones I created work on and off..

Any thoughts?
