2.2 update and Pandora/Slacker quality.

Try out Last.FM, it's not experiencing any of the quality issues with the codec change in 2.2, give it a shot, I like it much better than pandora or slacker.

alsong with degraded audio quality pandora also pauses after a navigation or call interruption and wont start up again. anyone else getting this?

Last.fm is just as bad.... So far Slacker has the best since the update but its still not great. Is this even something that Pandora/Slacker can fix?

I'm having the same issue with Pandora. It sounds horrible. I hope they fix this soon. I used to listen to Pandora all day at work and I really miss it.

I'm at work right now, but I'm going to run out to my car to confirm that the new Pandora update fixed this issue. Stay tuned.

Checked it. It was pretty much impossible to get a song to play on High Quality settings (the 3G in Denver pretty much sucks), but the low quality setting appears to have that same decoding problem.

I do know that MOG has figured out a workaround for their streaming music app, it seems.

Does anyone know WHO is responsible for this fix for Slacker radio? I keep reading that it is Google's problem, then other sites say that it is Slacker's problem, and they will have to fix the problem from within their app, which if this is the case, I am tired of waiting. I paid for a yearly subscription to this service and now I cannot even use it on my Evo, the sound quality is just horrendous.

Now with a new Slacker update in the works for their new "on demand" listening, I wonder if this problem will be corrected....??? I sure hope so.
