2.3 lock screen

2.3 seems to be much snappier on my phone...i just wish we got the new lock screen so you can enter message etc. straight from the lock mode - you can't tell me this phone couldn't handle that new feature of sense. from what i remember, HTC said they would bring some components of the new sense...are there any?

i hope so...that's all this phone needs from sense 3.0...i don't care about the animation and the 3D movement between home screens.

The trace keyboard would be nice too. Swype's auto correct doesn't seem as good as the defaults but it's so much faster when it get's it right.

I wish we could just swing through the different pages on the home page in a circle instead of having to stop at the one side and slide back through to the other.

not to rain on the parade, but I wouldn't count on getting Sense 3.0 lockscreen. Talk about it, it seems its more geared towards Dual Core devices, ours sadly isn't.

Htc tech rep said that we will at least get one more OS update to this phone and suggested it will be ice cream sandwich but no new sense not enough room.

If you guys are into rooting and switching out ROMs, there is a ROM that is Gingerbread 2.3.3 and can be updated from HTC Sense 2.1 to 3.0 at [ROM] Incredible 2 / HTC s710d 2.3.3 ROM based on Incredible S - Beta2 (6 July, 2011) - xda-developers so if your phone is S-OFF, this is an awesome ROM to have. That's what's on my phone and it works great.
