Hi,

I've recently bought a new car which has Bluetooth but rather stupidly I've just discovered that it can only be used for calls. So what I'd like to do is buy a 2nd Bluetooth receiver and connect it to the cars aux port so that I can stream Spotify to my car. But my question is, could I be connected to both Bluetooth devices at the same time and could I configure one (the cars) for calls and the other (3rd party) for music? If so how would I set this up on the phone?

I did originally buy a usb C to 3.5mm aux cable but for some reason the phone refuses to acknowledge it and still plays audio through the phones speakers.

Many thanks

Which car is it? I've never heard of an unit that only takes calls (especially if it's a new car). Once it's connected to the car, check your phone's BT options and see if the connection to your car offers Call and Media (Media might just be toggled off).

In any case, this is how you'd do what you want... set up one BT connection for Phone and another for Media (you can turn the toggles for each on/off if they're both supported). Or you could just siphon everything through a single connection.
