2 emails linked to gmail

[AC Question]

Yesterday I had to log in to another account briefly on my phone. Now I can't "separate" that email in my gmail app! I'm getting constant notifications of "sign-in request" for the other gmail address and I don't want it. I can't figure out how to get it OFF my gmail. Can anyone help? TIA

I have a S5 and I am using the gmail app.

From your GMail app, tap the menu button (sandwich) on the left, then select the drop down menu where your account is; there should be a 'Manage Accounts' option there.

That will take you to your Google Accounts settings (which you can also access directly from your Accounts Settings in your phone). Tap GOOGLE and there the two accounts should show up. Just select the one you want to remove and tap on the MORE button on the right. There you should see the Remove Account option.

Next time you need to access GMail on a one-time thing, I'd suggest to use the web version instead of adding the account on the apps. Saves you a lot of trouble hehe
