2 lines across the screen!!

Having just spent hours setting up my new phone, I noticed that there are 2 lines going across the screen one near the top and one near the bottom of equal distance. I initially thought it was dust and wiped it off, however within a minute or so the lines returned. Cant believe it! I love the phone but I cant have it with these lines across the screen.

Having looked online it appears that this is a common issue to do with the screen coating. Its not as if I can take the phone back for a replacement as I bought it from an ebay seller.

If not mistaken, think Ebay has a customer satisfaction clause. I would contact the seller and tell them it's defective. If they don't do anything file a claim with Ebay.

The seller has told me to send it back to him so he can return it to carphone warehouse were he got it from for a replacement.
