200$ trade in promotion

I saw a commercial last night for the S6 edge promoting the 200$ trade in on any device... Same as the one for the Note 4.. Anyone know of this? Can't seem to find anything on the web..

Well.. I haven't seen anything else about it.. I was just surprised that I saw a commercial..

With the Note 4.. The promotion was that if you trade in any working smartphone they will give you 200$ .. That's how I remember it

Well you'd have to buy 50 S6's, which either means 50 contracts or about $35,000 up front on your end to get $5,000 net.

Yes I am aware of that, but was wondering about the $200 trade in with any smartphone that the op was talking about

If you have the money, worth buying the phone out right. With the edge program, you end up spending monthly over two years the cost of the phone if it was off contract. I see no benefit in their 100% interest rate.

The trade in credit is valid for 2 year contracts as well. The port in credit requires edge.

The deal could be worth it to someone who is on the more everything plan on 6gb or higher which has the $25 per line discount.

See now im going to have to go back to a verizon store and argue with them to give me my stupid credit and hand over the phone. I have a two year contract and something like a 10gb data package. The clown I spoke to on the phone told me it didnt apply unless I wanted to go on the edge package. I even asked about it. I hate this crap of always having to fight what I should be getting.

Also which made no sense, when I ordered mine it said 499 however that is a partial lie because they charged 50 extra only to ship you 50 credit back when the phone ships. So that too is stupid.

Sorry for the confusion. The $25 discount is only for edge or off contract.
