2014 and were still getting 32gb

There is something called micro SD storage. I have a 64 GB micro SD card on my Note 3, and there's a 128 GB card available.
If you get that, that'll be 160 GB of total space.... Sounds enough for me

It's like saying "This laptop has 128gb, buy a hard drive with 500gb and you get 628gb!!!"

All I ask is what shoud happen im not demanding this buying a sd csrd is not a problem but having storage is also buying phones brand new is a Con I buy after 2 monthes and the guys from ----- sell there brand new phones for have the price so dont tell my I should pay $150 as I pay $250 all in like the saying goes its not who you know its what you know

I can't really understand what you wrote here but, you have the option of buying a 128 GB card for additional memory requirements...and as far as I know, there are no 128 GB devices out there today. That will change in the next few years and you will have your 128 GB internal memory, but you'll probably want 256 GB by then anyway. :)

I'm not against you; I'm just against being forced to pay for something I don't need, or that most of the general population doesn't need or want today, especial when they can buy a 128 GB card for $100.00 that will give you pretty much the same thing. I buy new phones at least once a year, and I don't feel like I want to pay $100-$150 more for something I won't use.

That's fine that you want more storage.. That is what you want and need so of course it seems right...

I'm just saying to make it a standard for everyone is not right. As stated previously manufacturers have proven this by showing the sale numbers for the high end devices with more space... And it shows majority don't want it. They'd rather get a cheaper SD card.. Or some don't even need that the smallest option is fine. I'd be mad if they made me buy a 100+ GB phone.. Not only because I don't need it but mainly because it would cost me a lot more for that much space...

Chip isn't the issue. The issue would be I wouldn't want that to be the standard and I have to pay a high price for it when I wouldn't use that much space.

I don't want to pay the $100-200 extra for a 128gb internal device.

Guys I think you lot are barking up the wrong tree Manufacturers can install bigger storage in the phones for a very little cost if a 128gb micro sd card size chip was fitted in the phone I think they would keep the cost to $500 or so just watch this space it will happen Ameen.....

Going from 32gb to 128gb costs about $40 manufacturing cost. The Note 3 has about a 3x markup over bom. So they would have to increase the price by at least $100 minimum. As time goes on, memory becomes cheaper, so in the future we may see it, but not very soon like the note 4.

Wanting a note 4 with 128gb for $500...while possible, is highly unlikely.

It definitely will happen.. One day there will be phones that big..

But as the "standard"? Not for a very very long time.

The snapdragon 801 includes cpu and modem and costs $41. A similar cpu without modem would be less. 128gb nand flash memory runs around $60.

Never it will happen very quick as its time......

Not even sure what you mean but if you have sources that could prove otherwise please post them. We have posted why 128 GB won't be the standard for everyone's phone as the bottom phone due to sales showing this. Manufacturers are going to make what sells..

Yes definitely interested in sources. There could have been something that I overlooked

On another Note (pun intended), why can't I choose to have the 2Gb version for $100 less and use that to buy a bigger storage card?

 Just saying!
