I'd be a huge vote against adding SD, but the 6P already has a huge battery and a 64 and 128GB option so just not downgrading either of those is good.

Yes if we're thinking of a 6P successor, but a 5X successor may be more modest. Of course we may get both.

Why not an Nvidia phone? Got the Shield K1 tablet and have been super-impressed with support. I was having a problem with "Miscellaneous" eating all my battery. I posted on one of their forums to see if anybody else was having the same problem and somebody from Nvidia Support direct emailed me. He sent me updates, one worked, the next didn't and eventually it ended up in the notorious February update.

Not against Nvidia making one. I'm just not inclined to think they will. Mainly due to if they were interested in making one, I think they would have already.

what features are you guys looking forward to? I am hoping sd cards maybe.

I'm not thrilled about the SD card becoming an integrated part of the OS. In this manner, cards will be read and written to much more often, and that may lead to more frequent card failures.

I really hope the next flagship Nexus will be made by Huawei again: the 6P seems almost perfect, except for the SD810 (which does not even perform too bad on the 6P).
I was going to buy this year's Nexus, but eventually decided to keep my N5 for another year, in the hope that the new Nexus "6-something" will have a similar display in a smaller device.

My vote is for Sony. I love what Huawei did with the Nexus, so I wouldn't be mad if they made a second one. HTC did a great job with the Nexus One, but I'm not confident in their ability to make a good camera these days, so I'd have to see a lot of improvement.

Biased as I'm using the Nexus 6, but Motorola made a peach of a smartphone. Holy **** it's good. It's been many years since I last had a Motorola but they know communications

Would like to see Sony get a crack at it. I have always liked the look of their phones but software and however they decide to gimp the US version never is to my liking.

+1 to Sony. I've always liked their designs ever since the Z series was released. Combine that with pure android experience, it'll be a winner.
The only thing Sony might screw up is pricing.

An IP68 Nexus anyone?

I would have to agree with HTC based on the current set of rumors. Would love to see Samsung give it a go again.

Oh God, NO. The Galaxy Nexus was the biggest POS piece of electronics of any kind that I've ever owned. Ever.

I love my Nexus 6 too.

IMO, the entire Nexus line should carry the best of everything, best processor, highest RAM, best camera, Big battery, premium build quality. in a small and large version. That is what Google needs to do with ALL Nexus product. They should be The most premium, best performing android deveices available.

Yea I think I would like another Samsung Nexus. When I got My Galaxy Nexus, the onscreen buttons were a new thing. I'm glad that they are still around, but not sure why Sammy still does the capacitive and physical home button.

OR

I would love Intel to team up with a good brand to get a good chipset using the integrated LTE modem into the Atom chips.
