20MB of RAM left! Phone is on a crashing spree!!

I am still inclined to think that some bloat is in there somewhere, chewing up all the memory. Application Manager first, then if that doesn't work, I am inclined to agree that a warranty exchange would be best.

I think you need to talk to someone else. If the phone isn't processing properly, it's a hardware issue. Did you talk to your carrier?

The list you gave us, where is that from? System Monitor has different tabs. One tab says TOP APPS. If you select that, then the RAM column, it will put them in order highest to lowest. What does that say? Can you do a screen shot and post it?

I do not think I have the right system monitor app. There is not a tab for "Top Apps"

Too many apps on your phone now, clear up the useless files or apps!!

These are the only Apps that I have that I installed.

Facebook
Instagram
MeterliveWallpaper (never used as wallpaper anyways)
Twitter
Tumblr
Chrome
Tune-in radio
my bank app
pages manager
linkedin
fox news
dictionary
flashlight
vector (game)
album art grabber
bubble maniac
notepad
visual voicemail
system monitor

Now today it is not superbad. battery is still good and it has been restarting after updating an app through the wifi. I cannot delete anymore applications except maybe for the two games. I barely use any of the applications anymore.

I called up my cellular provider and they told me to call Samsung. Samsung through their diagnostic procedure concluded it was a software issue. After trying to explain over and over again that I did a factory reset on the phone and it is still having problems, it is still considered as software issue. Even the supervisors said so. I ended up telling them that I cannot use my phone and god forbid if I was in an emergency and I needed help. All I was told was to purchase the Galaxy S4 or have a nice day.

You have to slide System Monitor right or left to see all the tabs. Took me a while to figure that out.

I know this sounds like a pain in the rear, but you might want to uninstall everything (or do a factory reset), and then start reinstalling apps one by one, with enough time between installations to see if it's having any effect on your memory or battery usage. Start with the well-established apps, like the following:

Facebook
Instagram
Twitter
Tumblr
linkedin
fox news

I didn't include Chrome because it can be a bit of a memory hog. On my Razr Maxx, I much prefer the stock Browser over Chrome because the former is much more lightweight (around 3-5 MB compared to around 25 MB), just as fast (if not faster), and still syncs search history and bookmarks with desktop Chrome. If you have a stock browser, you might want to uninstall or disable Chrome and see what happens. Otherwise, try another 3rd party browser like Dolphin.

The other apps on your list are not that familiar to me, so I'd give more time between installation of those apps to see if something rears its ugly head.

Swipe system monitor??? Nope will not let me. Sorry.

Here are some screenshots requested

I downloaded the app and wow 100% ram in full use!. One of my friends at work looked at my phone. I do not have live wallpaper but I do have 3 widgets. An alarm clock, weather and my music. When I killed those widgets it knocked my RAM down to 70% which is sustainable since it has not crashed yet. I guess with my phone I can only use the bare basics. Also I heard Google has a download for a keyboard. I am thinking of killing the samsung keyboard and switching over to google

Overall not many of my apps are using so much RAM in the background. It is primarily Android system and security storage that is using anywhere between 80-200mb of RAM. Google Backup Transport and Dialer Storage is about 50-100mb. Facebook only has been using 30-40mb of RAM.

Weather takes up a lot of resources. Try 1Weather, it's stable and small. What Android version is your phone? Your standard clock should have an alarm. For a keyboard, download Kii, very good free keyboard. The music widget should be fine as it should not do anything except when using it. Your phone has more RAM than mine so I don't understand why you can't run anything.
