2150 extended battery with cover

hey those who got the extended battery and cover(htc one) does it block ur gps? its blocking mine, mine is unable to register, or be used for google maps or anything with that beast on my phone. i know this is an old thread but can somene put some insite into my problem? thanks

Yeah mine does. Sorry for the late response but I just figured out that was the problem. I always figured it was software. I'm exchanging emails with htc about it.

ok thanks let me know what they say, i called them and they know about as much as the spacebar when it comes to anything tech or phone wise, they argued with me that that wasn't the antenna.

So they are denying that they make the extended battery and cover, never mind the HTC logo. I'm supposed to take it back to the verizon store. I'll have to use the wife's dinc2 tho since it's not been rooted

unbeleiveable, i got mine to work,, try snapping it on starting at the top and follow down both sides making sure it snaps on and all the contacts hit, the gps tabs are up top by the cam. i think..

Good catch! I fixed mine by bending the contacts up on the phone a bit.

yea that system of contacts touching the batt door is the worst invention ever i think. why would u put something like that on a phone? my 1st one the tab got bent i dont know how but it got bent and i had tried to bend it back and it snapped. so be careful. my 2nd one has been holding up so far. so just watch those tabs are fragile

I got mine a few weeks back using BAT30. I would keep trying it here and there and finally one day the code worked. I paid like $27 for mine with my employer discount.

No GPS issues here.

So far today, im at 39% after 28 hours from full charge. Thats with intermitent use of wifi and blutooth and GPS, occasional gmail use (~20 emails a day), frequent Exchange mail use (>50 emails a day) set on push, occasional web browsing, occasional game, etc.

Yes its a bit thicker and a bit heavier, but not having to worry about running dead before 5:00pm every day is priceless.
