2150 extended battery with cover

Ok got the battery charged up last night and its been off the charger for 10 hrs now and am sitting at 54%. I've done some facebook, twitter, little browsing, wordfued, hbogo for about a half hour. I do think it feels really good in the hand. Adds a little weight but not to much. Still feels light. in battery setting phone says 76% under display if that helps any. I'm sorry I didn't get pics posted this morning but something came up. I will get them up tonight for sure. Any special requests for pics? Only thing I can't do is side by side obviously.

Edit...just to add I've texted gtalk emailed and some youtube as well. I'm pretty impressed so far. Hoping to get all the way through the day on this one charge

Shafe75.........did the battery have to go through a few cycles to calibrate or anything like that? I'm coming from an OG Droid 1 and the battery display was not able to show the true power on the extended batteries. It would look as if it was getting low and I would reboot and it would be practically at 80% again. This happened a few times a cycle.

Is that a problem with newer phones? Haven't had one in a while. Because the 10 hrs. at 54% that you posted is actually similar to what my stock battery would be at on this phone. It's just been unbelievable thus far.

If I reboot it comes back to same level. I did pull battery out once and it went up about 5%. I was getting better life then what was posted at first but now I'm back on stock battery. Like the thinner size for everyday use. Basically I bought extended for long weekends and vacations

just got the battery and i love it! for me, while i loved the slim design of the phone, the slight added thickness makes it a perfect fit in my hands. the additional battery life of course is just a plus. now i just need to find a case like the otterbox defender that i can use for it.

Glad you like it. I keep going back and forth trying to decide if I want to use extended for everyday use. Prob should. I'll get use to it.

Quick update. Put battery back in and I'm on 1 day and 4 hrs with 48% left. Few phone calls Twitter FB downloaded about 17 podcasts because I had it set to WiFi only and my internet was out. Had phone catch up on those. I'll post complete stats tonight

nice! i'm trying out a 1800 mAh extended right now so i haven't had much chance to try out the 2150.

i got both mine from ebay. 1800 battery from mugen. and the 2150 is the one from verizon.

Not sure how good this is but I'm pretty happy with the battery life. I'm on 1 day 18 hrs and 26 min since unplugged. Battery sitting on 19%. Was going to keep going but I wanted it to be charged up for tomorrow.

Stats are like this

Display 67%
Phone Idle 7%
Cell Stand by 6%
Android system 4%
Wifi 3%
Lightning bug 3%
Android OS 2%
Flex t9 Keyboard 2%
Mediaserver 2%
Dolphin Browser 2%
Seesmic 2%

Played some wordfued and about 30 min of phone calls Some facebook, Pulse and USA Today apps. Maybe 20 min on youtube. Tried to think of everything I did over last few days but I'm sure I missed something.

Doesnt look like it adds too much extra thickness. It looks a little rough around the camera and speaker though.

That 3600 looks massive! Anyone try it/order it yet?

Has anyone tried the 1700 something battery that is on this website? Its the slim one with a bit more juice. Dont know how much of a difference it would make.

The great thing about the 3600 extended battery is that, in a pinch, you can use it to jump-start your car ;)

My gps takes a few min to lock in but I think that is a total different issue. I can still use use maps and navigation without any real issues caused by the battery cover. Not sure why your getting that problem

yea i tried it with the cover off and only the ext batt last nite, and it dont lock on. i dont know whats up. looks like im calling vz. i hate doing that...

I have the Verizon extended battery. The GPS still works fine for me. I pick up a signal pretty much right away. It even picks up the GPS indoors, but that does take about a minute or so to get a location.
