Hello, New to this forum, but longtime victim of Googles' incompetent customer service standards.

For the device itself, I have been using two 20 watt home chargers, but I want to get one for my cars now. There is a deal on a 30 watt 12v charger and I wanted to know if this will be safe or be detrimental to long term battery life.

Thanks

As I understand it, the maximum power obtained from the Pixel 6 is 21W and from the Pixel 6 Pro is 23W. Any good quality charger from a reputable manufacturer that supports both Power Delivery (PD) and Programmable Power Supply (PPS) standards, and has a rated output of 24W or higher will give you optimum charging capability and slightly faster charging speed than what you are getting with a 20W charger. You will also need a compatible cable that can provide the proper charge between the charger and your Pixel 6. Avoid the cheap, unknown generic chargers.
