IMHO it sounds better. Kinda how the bose radios use the internal ports to extend sound waves but no where near as good. The general range of sound is nicer and if it gets covered u can still hear it. With the camera it reduces glare.

I can agree with the camera glare. The cone on the back really makes better pictures.
Also here's a picture of my day with heavy use (Star Legends, texting, some wifi, 3g enabled, pandora through work, and web browsing) though the day. I dont think I could go back to that tiny battery.

Wow, in the pictures it's HUUUUUUGE but I'll take 3 days of battery life, and the extra heft and thickness could be nice, making it easier to grip. So glad to hear that this is working out well for you guys, I just ordered one!

Will someone take a picture on the phone with this cover to show what it looks like. Does the cone around the camera show up?
Just got the 3000mAh battery in the mail. What are the reccomendations on first use. It came at like 90% charged, should I charge it first above 100% and then let drain all the way down? Also when do I recallibrate the batt stats, at 100% or @ 0%. ?
I've taken many pictures with this, the cone is shaped in such a way that it doesn't show up in photos. I've attached a photo I took just last weekend with the extended battery in.

Use the battery first but try not to drain it lower than 5% then charge it to 100% and leave it plugged in for about 1 more hour. Then re-calibrate the battery by wiping the battery history/stats. If ur running froyo it is easy at this point bc u can leave the phone off and plugged in to let it charge. When the charging animation stops cycling the battery should now be full and again wipe battery. Reboot and unplug the phone use it as normal. Most people will say to get a proper calibration u have to drain the battery till the phone dies. I don't suggest this bc it is possible that it will damage the battery. I try to drain it to 1% before plugging it in for calibration but for normal use I don't let it drop below 5% before charging. Lithium-Ion cells don't like to be fully discharged. I think some one in this thread posted about how it messed up his. After the first battery wipe my phone charged for another 2 hours.

ZOMG this thing is huge. that's OK, though, because it'll be worth it. I like the little bit of added weight, though I'm not sure about the thickness. I'll get used it though. Especially if it'll let me go 3-4 days on a charge.
Just got the 3600mAh from eBay as well. Anyone found a good alternative case that actually fits onto the phone?? would be quite difficult to find for sure xD
