3a o er Trade S9+ for a 3a

Am I crazy? I'm debating about trading my S9+ for a pixel 3a. I understand what I'd be "losing" as far as the specs are concerned but I'm really compelled by the price...and color. I wise T-mobile had the purple-ish one, otherwise I'd of made the jump by now.

I am also considering jumping to the pixel 3a or even the regular pixel if I trade in my phone I wouldn't need to do a down payment my s9+ since pie hasn't been working right and the battery drains to fast it's dead by 3pm.

It's your choice and what you want in the end and if that makes you happy go for it, me personally I wouldn't.

Yeah, I've decided to get the 3a XL. I'm going to give my mom my S9+ and trade in her S8+. She thinks I'm crazy every time I switch phones but I told her unless Google also makes a purple-ish pixel 4 I'll stick with the 3a...for now.

Is colour really that bad? The Samsung equivalent on the S9+ to purple-is is lavender...only very minor difference between the two.

But yeah, the only thing you’ll be gaining with the 3a XL compared to the S9+ is purer, longer software updates and battery life.

Cameras should be about the same hopefully, but the negatives are no expandable storage, IP rating, inferior design, no face/iris scan, plastic build and inferior performance.

Personally I’d keep the S9+, but if you’re happy with your new 3a XL then good for you!

The phone you should be comparing to the S9+ is the Pixel 3XL. I'm guessing you didn't buy the S9+ for the specs

I didn't, but I did decide to get the 3a XL instead of the 3a.

How are you finding the phone? Is it too big to use easily?
