3D effect 'not working' for my eyes?

I checked out the phone in person at the store (mine arrives tomorrow). For some reason, my eyes couldn't 'get' the 3D effect. It just looked blurry and double-imaged. I also played the Spiderman game, and I seemed to get the 3D, but it was quite shallow.

Evo3D uses same technology as Nintendo 3D right? My cousin owns it, and they looked incredibly immersive, with full-on 3D depth surrounding my eyes.

Strange huh?

You have to hold it at a certain distance. What I found out with my phone is that if you make a video the 3d effect works best when someone is pointing at you in the camera. It has that "pop" effect.

Other than that the 3d is just a field of vision sort of thing.

I first thought the trick with closing one eye till you see one clear image then opening the other eye worked well.... then i started tilting the device (very slightly) till i found the sweet spot was a little quicker, now i found the quickest/easiest way to get the sweet spot on videos and pics in 3D is to move the phone (slowly/gradually) towards and away from you......

try these three tips out...

if none work wait for the SGSII or go get Lasik (worked for me) ;-)

I've found it takes a little "practice" to be able to see the effect clearly.

After having played with the phone for a day I can easily flip the 3D switch in my head to see the effect instantly- just have to train your seeing balls a bit.

I've found, when showing the phone to new people the best way to explain how to find the correct sight picture is to treat it like those old "magic eye" pictures from way back when- usually that does the trick.

If you wear glasses, try it with out them on. relax, dont "try" to focus and pan the screen till it looks right. I looked at the 3D photo gallery and decided right there, I want this phone. It isnt for everyone tho...

Hold it farther from your face, about 12 inches or so. Dead on center angle to your face.

This is exactly how it is. Once I did that, I could tilt the phone up and down and I would not lose sight of 3D, it's just when I tilted the phone left and right when things would look weird.

Hold the phone about 12 inches from your face and point your chin downward so that you are looking up through your eyelids (zombie stare) to see the phone. Now, beat yourself on the left temple with a wooden spoon as you hum in B flat.

This worked for me.

Sounds like the old "hold your iphone this way with your right hand and your head tilted to the left or it won't work" issue a year ago....lol
Do u guys hear yourselves?!
