3G cutting on and off

So i just got my V 2 days ago and the ROM is basically stock exept im rooted and have removed some bloatware. Anyways im trying to listen to Pandora and it keeps cutting on and off like every 2 or 3 minutes ( on 3G) so i tried WIFI and no problems.
So i thought it was my rooting and my messing around so i return back to stock and same thing....
Ive also tried changing my PRL too and that didnt help.
Anyone else have spotty 3G?

lol North East Pennsylvania - Hazleton Area (18201) has NO 3G
even my friends with sprint phone/plans say it sucks
they keep saying the tower is bad, lol

do you have juice defender or some other battery saver enabled? may be set to disable 3g when screen is shut off
