Anyone else having problems here? My account was reset earlier today and 3G was working fine for a little while but has stopped again. Every time I try to do anything it forwards me to the mobile vm site but then times out every time I try to log in. Called cs and all he said was to turn the phone of for 10 minutes and he 'promised' it would fix it. Well after leaving it off for 30 minutes there is no change. Anyone else having this problem?

After endless calls to CS and Tech support the only thing they are offering me is to send me a new phone. I've seen many posts where people have had this same problem where everything redirects them to usablenet.com

I'm running CM7 2.3.5 and can't activate so they aren't willing to help me. They tell me ##virgin# which doesn't work, and i also don't have an activate option under about phone so they think my phone is broken. The only thing is other people have said this exact thing has happened when their account didn't automatically re-up and had to call and get the account restarted completely. But they have been telling me that they can't do that, which i know they aren't supposed to, but they can. I'm now talking to a supervisor at tech support, hopefully he will help.

BTW tech support phone number 877.600.8065

Backup your current rom in your recovery. Then flash a froyo rom, they all have the activate app and the VM programming menu will work. After reactivating your phone, restore your backup and your good to go.

i think if you even mentioned that your running a custom ROM they can just hang up and not help you. think thats a warranty voider if there ever was one.

however, ignoring customer support completely, try backing up your current GB rom and flashing a Froyo rom. any of the more current ones from this forum should be alright. they have the "activate" app and I think you can even get into the service menus. i may be wrong though.

I never told them that, they assumed my phone was broken because I couldn't open the service programming menu. After getting on the line with the supervisor he again tried to walk me through the activation process, this time with him I played along and said it worked and I got no errors but still had no 3g. He mumbled and groaned and sighed and said ok, I'll restart your service. Boom immediately it came back on. I said thank you, but like I told girl an hour ago and you before its not a problem with my phone, the account just needs to be restarted to restore 3g. He mumbled some more and I hung up. 3g working now with no problems

Have no 3G for 6 days now. I have also called CS several times, on and off airplane mode, battery out and in, VM restarted my plan...nothing! I have one phone and there are two others in my house working fine. They are saying they will need a few days to fix!!@! Any other suggestions?:-\

they are only resetting your plan, they aren't actually restarting the 3G service. can you still make calls and text?

i cant seem to get 3g right now or send texts... or even make calls... pretty sure service is down o.o

I thought it was a bad flashing of IHO Backside on my part that screwed up 3G and Voice since Tuesday(10/11). Right now I'm getting the sporadic ability to call and 3G is spotty (Thursday 10/13@ 3:51am PST), and that's if I'm lucky.

On my screen I see 2 bars. And when I dial, it takes a few moments from 30 seconds to 1 minute to "Call has been lost".

Is there something up with Virgin Mobile's network at the moment? I'm in the SF Bay Area.

Update: (10/13:3:54am PST) Tried a Virgin Mobile Paylo Samsung phone which has 4-5 bars but get the message "Out of Range Call Cannot Be Completed", when I called my home number (land line) and when I try voice mail. It exhibits the same 30 second or more delay from call to error message similar to my LG Optimus V.

Both phones are paid up to moment and have maximum 1/2 of their allotted minutes, and have confirmed this on the Virgin Mobile Website.

Anyone getting similar problems with 3G and Voice calls?
