3G not working

Hey guys, yesterday my wife's Epic stopped connecting to the 3G network, so the only way she can get anything via the internet is through the 4G connection which is constantly disconnecting/reconnecting. She's extremely annoyed. I've tried rebooting it and updating the PRL, but neither helped. Any other suggestions or am I going to have to go the route of the full reset?

Have you double checked Settings>Wireless and Networks>Mobile Networks> 3g data is checked

My wife had the same issue one day, 4g and wi fi only.. Shes like my phone is broke! Turns out she somehow navigated there by mistake and unchecked the 3g data box.

I'm pretty sure that was it. I didn't realize that turning off 3G was an option, so I wasn't looking for it. Thanks for the help Paul!

She may not have navigated very far. You can quickly disable 3g by holding the power button and disabling data services in the popup. Doesn't seem to affect 4g or wifi settings.

I am running Syndicate Frozen 1.1.1 but with out K0ane it seems that updates are getting slower. But damn its still a great ROM. I am hoping 2.3.3 gets baked into our ROM soon.

Kinda of off topic for this thread but I'm not so sure its due to k0nane not being around, problem is other than some kernel changes/improvements I think we have seen about all you can really do with Froyo.. Devs are tired and ready to move onward to new material like GB.
