3G trouble

having issues with phone continually swithing from 1X to 3G. It only happens when im at home. I have had good 3G signal at home. i have called tech support but people on here are smarter than them, they gave me BS things to do, so any help or suggestions would help. i dont want to get a new phone, cuz i dont want to reset everything up.

If you have not tried *228 to update your roaming, I would, option 2. There may be two issues here as well. One being you live on the outer edge of the 3g network and your 3g network signal is low and keeps reverting to the 1X because the signal is stronger. Two, like me, the building materials in your house weaken the signal. I have this problem in certain areas of my house. How well is you 3G work outside of your house? VZW does not guarantee service in any building (its in their fine print). Those are my assumptions.
