3rd Part Calendar App

I DO NOT want to use the calendar app that came with the phone, nor am I interested in using any calendar app that requires me to sync with a Google account. I tried downloading one calendar app but for some reason it wouldn't install. What options are there that fit this set of needs/wants?

You can give Business Calender a try. It syncs with Outlook without going through Google.

I downloaded it from the playstore.Syncing with Outlook is done through outlook.com bypassing the Google servers.
