4.0.4 OTA has Arrived!

It's released by serial number, and according to Verizon it's going to be rolled out slowly. It started on May 30, and after 10 days you will be able to manually pull it if it's not pushed to you already. So June 9 will be a busy day for everyone who haven't received it by then.

I'd agree with you, but there are users that have had their Nexus from day 1, and have not received the update. I would think those would have the earliest serial numbers.

Not trying insult anyone or otherwise cause hurt feelings but it would be nice to have a thread that just had people report that they got the upgrade. This allows everyone to see roughly how fast it is rolling out or if it has stopped. A large collection of not yet and a city location posts tell me nothing.

They are probably using the last character of the serial number. SN's that end in 0 get it the first day, SN's that end in 1 get it the second day...and so on. This would provide an even ten day roll out.

I think they are pulling ping pong balls out of lotto sphere and each ball has a 14 digit number.

This is complete nonsense. Back when i had a blackberry, when an ota is released, it is pushed to all the phones. If you did not receive the ota, you simply connect your phone to the pc and log into the blackberry site. Click check for update and it will automatically pull the update for your phone.

This phone? Ota is out for the public. but its the luck of the draw on who gets it and who doesnt.

My MEID number ends in double 00, had my phone from day 1 and no update as of yet, but i am also unlocked and rooted running AOKP so that might have something to do with it
