idk...watched the presentation live yesterday, he was pretty clear that unless the JB upgrade degraded user experience (ie couldn't handle it), that Moto would be upgrading us to JB.
Yes, I'd thought that the bean counters (see what I did there?) probably already have figured out the costs of a JB upgrade per device model, and weighing the devices sold numbers, may already have a list of rebated phones vs. JB upgrade phones.
My hope is that now that Google appears to be publicly exerting control over Moto's direction, that they're wanting to make a visible statement of support for the devices they build...and that we'll see the benefits of that.
I'd also agree that the ICS to JB updates seem to be an easy upgrade judging by how quickly they're rolling out.
