Yeah.. I was a little annoyed with that. Was wondering if it was just mine or what the deal was lol.

I don't understand.. why would I not want my apps to auto update?

Lag is gone. So far so good!

But MX Player is not supported. I hope we get a fix soon.

Got mine for both the 7 and the 4 yesterday.

Lag is definitely better. I didn't try MX player - personally, I hope that's your problem and not mine

I just got it after clearing Google Services Framework's data two times. I noticed that Google Now opens up much faster (when holding the navigational buttons, then swiping up).

Before, it would literally take about three seconds to completely load everything. Now, it takes just a second to load everything.

I don't understand.. why would I not want my apps to auto update?

Because updates are not always improvements? I very rarely update any of my apps and auto-update is definitely not what I want...

Just got my update for the Nexus 7 and for the Nexus 4 for the a couple of days ago. My wife has the same devices and hasnt seen an update on either yet.

Just got Nexus 7 updated today. Yesterday evening I got Nexus 4 and today this afternoon Nexus 7.

This was definitely not the case for me. My auto update apps setting remained at off after the update. I think it may have been because you did not update OTA and your user settings were not retained.

Just picked up a 32gb 1st gen today ($199 plus -$30 coupon from Staples = $180 OTD)

It got the update as soon as it was finished setting up..

Now to let it install all my apps from backup.

Got mine about an hour ago. As I suspected I don't notice a difference. I didn't feel that my N7 was lagging or running sluggishly to begin with though.

So I got the update an hour ago in the uk, so far so good. Seems to have sped up a lot, especially going into and out of apps and going through homescreens. Mine was noticably slower before update and would pretty much freeze everytime you updated apps but now its actually usable when updating now.

My external keyboard works fine
