4.3 Update Features

My internet keeps crashing too. Anytime I go to watch a flash video it crashes. Now before the update it wasn't doing that. I still have adobe on my phone. Is there a way to stop it from doing that?

Odd behavior with the display.
One time it started flashing thin horizontal bars. Another time it went to the edit of displays. It was stuck on adding a new page, and it was HUGE. Strange behavior.

So I did a factory reset myself. I was prepared to sit awhile when I did it but it happened so fast & everything came back the way I had it.

Did you do this from within Recovery mode? If so, are you sure you didn't just clear the cache (which does happen very quickly)?

It doesn't sound like any Factory Reset I've ever heard of.

No, exactly as before.

Go into the general settings, and then to lock screen. If they aren't turned on already you can turn them on there.

If they are on when at the lock screen you can swipe to the right and access certain widgets there by long pressing on the lock screen. There should be a plus sign in the middle of the screen.

Thanks for the info, but that's not working for me. Swiping just unlocks the phone and doesn't show lock widget options. I set an unlock PIN and the second page showed but said it can't be edited in security mode? Not a huge deal, but confusing...

No, didn't do it from recovery mode. I did the factory reset from the settings. I went to recovery mode & cleared my cache is all.

There's a setting in the OS to clear your cache for all apps now!

After using it some days, my reception is definitely a bit better than before.

Does anyone know how to turn off the vibration when entering the unlock pattern? I can't find the option anywhere.

I want to know how to do this, also. My unlock vibration doesn't seem to happen consistently.

If you have any lock screen security set, then no lock screen widget for you!

This is apparently a Samsung decision, as AOSP does not have a similar restriction.
