4.3 Update Help

The off-center lock screen clock is annoying and drives me crazy. Has anyone found a way to permanently remove this? I found that you can switch it to a message but I prefer an empty lock screen

Also the user icons in the messaging app are super creepy and unnecessary. Is there any one to get rid of these from the conversation screen and just have the messages like before?
