4.3 Update Problem

I have an ATT HTC One running stock.

Started the update today, and when I lost WiFi it stopped the update. No biggie I thought, I'll just download it when I get home.

When I got home, opened up ATT Software Update from settings and it said "continue update" instead of check for updates.

I tried clicking continue update and nothing happens. I tried dragging it down, rebooting the phone, checking for an update from the "about" menu and none of it works. Just sits there and says "continue update".

If it matters, I was about 60% done with it when it stopped.

My about menu says I'm still running 4.1.2

I would force stop the AT&T update service and clear the cache. That (for me) has worked with getting the update restarted

This is a major firmware update of almost 600 MB. You should have taken the time to see it through.

Anyhow keep trying to download the rest now ultimately if all else fails reset the phone and start over.

Not sure what happened, but as I was navigating the settings menus to do as you instructed, I was greated with a pop-up informing me that the update had finished and I needed to restart my phone. Thanks anyway!

Well, I can't exactly control it when the WiFi in the office goes down now can I?

Why do tool bags reply with nothing to add?? Anyway my update was interrupted twice, once when the power went out at my house and again to reboot the modem. Each time it resumed with no issues.

Stop all your processes, any running programs, all cached data. Then, change your date, start rebooting your phone WITHOUT fast boot selected, etc etc.

I had a similar issue where the download just got stuck at a certain percentage and I had to restart the phone to get it done. However, after the update and everything I am still seeing 4.1.2 as my software and no difference at all to the phone. Not sure what's up with that...

You probably updated your phone to the LTE bands from the last update and never actually did it until now. Change the date manually to a day or two later and check for updates. The 4.3 update is ~500mb and should come up.
