4.3 Update WARNING........

The only issue I had was massive battery drain, I factory reset the phone (nightmare) but now it seems stable and there are no other issues. The camera for me seems to be better.

AT&T USA

I updated for AT&T through the HTC site instead. Not one issue at all. Battery life on mine is better.

I'm using Android 4.3 custom rom and I have no problems at all. Calls are fine, wifi is good (have been downloading torrents all day) etcetera. If you're stil on stock, I recommend you to change to custom. It will change your life! Just search ARHD 30.0 on XDA. The smoothest 4.3 sense rom for HTC One.

Well I've been running 4.3 for a couple of weeks now and I'm starting to wish I didn't update. My battery life is worse, didn't fix the "purple tint" with the camera and overall my phone runs slower! I should have kept 4.1.2

Time to go custom, I have been using 4.3 some weeks too and I have no bugs at all. Search ARHD 30 on XDA.

HTC said they'll try to fix the tint problem via software update (problem with ISO) but you could send your device for a fix. Ask you provider for information.

I'd love to go with a custom ROM just to see what its about, but it would be the first time I would be doing so, and I'm afraid to screw something up and brick my phone.

There are guides on XDA to do this and if you follow the guide perfectly the chances of a bricked phone are 0.

There is a toolkit you can use. If you follow the steps it will automatically do most of the things for you. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183942

Read everything and you decide if you want it or not. Remember that custom roms are not a must, if you haven't ever done something like this don't just go on with it.

Yeah you have done something wrong to get that nightmare. There are a lot of custom roms, you just have to find 1 that's good with no useless tweaks on it. using beats audio on a note is not a feature of Samsung so using that is asking for trouble. I'm using ARHD for my Android devices and it's a custom ROM that has the stock rom as basis with more speed and smoothness added to it. It's basically the same stock rom with extra power added. Search for it and you'll see why it's nr1.

Stock android 5.0 will take a long time before it's available for the HTC One. Can't wait to have it with sense 5.5 or maybe 6?

Likewise, stock Sprint, not a single issue--4.3 is running great for me and I love the improvements to the notifications and the toggles.

Stock sprint 4.3 no issues here

Only one real problem on a stock Sprint HTC One with 4.3 update for me so far.

If I listen to the FM Radio for around an hour I get a bluetooth error that kills the FM radio until I reboot. Bluetooth is off on the handset. One of the things that made me get the HTC One was it was the only modern phone with FM radio. FM works better than the streaming apps do for prolonged listening since it is a one way signal.

Guys it's a big shame for some of you with the WiFi lag that u r having if only we can go down to 4.2 I'm really happy with my 4.2 I'm not going to update my camera and all is working fine I know if I update things might not be good famn HTC why lolzzz......

Dude there are no big problems with 4.3 update. Camera is better then previous android versions. If anyone has purple tint in low light etc. contact htc for a replacement. Has nothing to do with android 4.3.

WiFi is as fast and stable as before.

Bluetooth working fine as normal

Phone wakes up if I need it, so no issues.

Speakers are working the same. HTC has lowered the volume since 4.2.x because people were complaining about loud speakers. so it isn't a bug of Android 4.3

It's people like you who kill companies. The amount of people that have problems with android 4.3 on their htc one is really low. So considering that fact, there isn't anything wrong with the update. If you DO experience problems, it is easy to fix with factory resetting.

If a large amount of people have trouble with the update then it would be a fact that the update is troublesome, but It isn't. So do something with our advises and fix it.

Just remember why not everybody gets the update at the same time? Every provider puts the update thoroughly to the test and only, ONLY when it works good it is provided via OTA.

I'm not attacking you or something but I'm just trying to help you and others that experience this. If you keep on talking like 4.3 is something buggy, people will be scared and leave the update or even have a bad feeling about HTC in general.
