4.3 Update WARNING........

Overall battery life is awesome for me, just the first 2-3% seem to come off disproportionately fast. I think it's because the battery is not fully charged despite what the meter says.

I'm not having that issue. But you seem to have an awesome overall battery life and 2-3 % loss when the battery is discharging at first is not something odd I guess. Could be the fact that your battery lost some of its capacity. Try contacting HTC or your provider for information if this issue bothers you.

So I think there's a battery issue aswell and the WiFi fault also why did HTC not fix the bugs before bringing out the terrible update

Did you do a hard reset? Resolves all issues with this update. It's a full system upgrade, theses glitches are expected when upgrading ROM while keeping app data and settings etc. If there was bugs built in to the update, they wouldn't resolve with a reset.

Hello everyone,

Still very new to the HTC One world, but loving this phone. It seems I've been lucky as I'm not having any W-Fi issues.
However about 2 weeks ago, Sprint (or HTC) prompted me to download an update to my OS.
Since then, when I'm in my car people can no longer understand me while on BT.
BT audio works fine, but folks tell me I've very distorted, to the point I have to take the call off BT.
If anyone has any suggestions, ideas or ways to even download the old OS that would be greatly appreciated.
I deleted the phone from list and repaired with the car to no avail. In fact, possibly could be worse than before.

Does that mean we're not going to be seeing any more "still waiting for my update" posts?? :D. jk

PS iOS 7 came out a while ago and I think I'm up to 7.03... AppleLand has bugs, Andy4.3 has bugs, Windoze has bugs, that's the nature of software.

I have just moved from blackberry to Android. As I was regularly loading leaked os onto my phone I used to load new os and then security wipe. I loaded this update and found strange bugs. I wiped phone and reinstalled from scratch. This seems to have solved issues

I'm not too sure, keeping an eye on it but my battery is going down even when I'm not using the phone so from reading this thread i may have to perform a factory reset, I only have one purchased app, the others are free ones, from what i can gather i can reinstall the purchased app (Swiftkey) right?

Yeah you can reinstall all of your apps.

When mine updated to 4.3 I did a factory restore. Something I always do when upgrading between major android releases. I'll be doing the same with 4.4. And root

Trouble is i didn't take much notice before the update on how fast the battery went down, I know it still has to use some battery even in sleep mode so that's probably all it is, this morning when i turned it on it was 35%, i've been popping in and out just checking things and sent a couple of texts and now it's 18%, thats about 8 hours.

I have noticed the battery drains a little bit quicker on 4.3 than before but it really is marginal. Barely noticeable.

Everyone's situation is different...but i updated my HTC One to 4.3 OTA the first day it was available..and its worked flawlessly ever since. I loose about 1% of battery every 2hrs on standby...and while using the phone battery life is noticeably better than it was on 4.1.2 as well.

I intend to do the exact same thing with 4.4 and Sense 5.5 hit. No resets...just update and roll on.

We will see how it goes...but ive had nothing but success out of this phone so far.

Up to now i have lost 7% of battery in 4hrs 21mins mostly on standby
just dipping in here and there, no apps running in the background, power saving on, live wallpaper, go weather app.
