4.3 , wi-fi optimazation and other things

It has been a while since 4.2.1, 4.2.2 and the various setting adjustments that were made for various reasons. I recall at one point it was determiend it was best to switch wi-fi optimazation off. I don't remember if this was for battery or for wi-fi stability issues.

Just curious if anyone has tested this or any othe tricks we developed to see if they are no longer necessary.

when you switch it ON it Minimize battery usage when Wi-Fi is on but wifi will be slower when screen is off i believe

Another thing I just noticed, I can put the tablet in airplane mode, then turn WiFi back on while it is still in airplane mode. I have both the blue wi-fi icon and gray airplane icon at the top of my screen.
